Third Street accepts applications for financial aid online. Financial aid applications are processed through School and Student Services (SSS).
Returning students are given priority for need-based financial aid. Any student that has a completed application on file for 2017-18 (including Summer 2017) will have their award amount automatically renewed for 2018-19 (including Summer 2018). However, if family income or financial circumstances have changed significantly you are welcome to submit an application for 2018-19.
The school is still accepting financial aid applications.

May 15, 2018 – Summer individual instruction and youth workshops
May 15, 2018- Music and Dance activities for 2018-19 academic year
Applications received after these deadlines will be reviewed until funds are exhausted.
HOW TO APPLY
Click here to create your account on the SSS website, begin your Personal Family Statement (PFS) and submit your required documents. There is a $49 application fee per family assessed to complete your online application. If you need help creating an online account, please make an appointment with Student Services and they will be glad to assist you.

- W2 and 1040 forms (or other equivalent statements/schedules) for the most recently completed tax year.
- If you receive any type of government subsidy (Public Assistance, Section 8, Social Security Insurance, Disability Payments, etc.), submit your monthly or annual budget letter.
To submit these documents online, log into the Family Portal after you have completed and submitted your PFS. Go to the My Documents tab in the PFS Online. There you can upload documents from your computer. Save each document separately, the system recognizes most file types. Each document must not exceed a size of 10 MB. On the My Documents page, select the purple “Upload” button to the right of the document type name. In the “Add Document” window, verify you are about to upload the correct document type name by clicking “Next”. Use the “Browse” button to select the file you want to upload from your local machine. Click “Save”.
To submit these documents by mail, log into the Family Portal after you have completed and submitted your PFS. Click on the “My Documents” tab then click the “Print Cover Sheet” link on that page to print your customized cover sheet. Send one copy (not the original) of each document with a cover sheet to: School and Student Services, P.O. Box 449, Randolph, MA 02368-0449 USA.
