With a mission to provide access to high-quality music education to all people, no matter their financial situation, Third Street is a music school for everyone.
Third Street Preschool is built around children’s natural love of learning, and our Virtual Community extends this learning to your home. Daily video lessons from our Preschool teachers encourage your preschoolers to explore, imagine and reflect, acknowledging each child’s feelings with care.
From children to teens to adults — we provide nurturing learning for students to grow as musicians and as individuals. Everyone has a place here at Third Street, and we’re proud to make our school more accessible than ever by bringing our much-loved classes into your home for remote learning.
Third Street Partners provides tailored, group music and dance instruction to over 3,000 students in more than 25 public schools throughout New York City. Third Street’s broad array of programs give schools and organizations numerous options, ensuring that the arts are an integral part of each child’s education.
Third Street Music School and Interschools Orchestra have joined forces to create the largest youth ensemble program in NYC. With a combined 175 years of experience in music education, this partnership ensures access to high-quality instruction for students from all boroughs.
